the beastie boys 12" came yesterday...that was fast.
i'm moved in. it's dope
johnny's was cool, played horseshoes, badminton, went shooting (at cans),
went to the boardwalk, mall, downtown, etc. hung out plenty...it was a
good trip...train was slow, but gave my MiniDisc a workout.
johnny lent me a camera for the computer so i will take some pictures of
new room, me, friends, butt, & whatever else.
have work today for 5 hours.
phones aren't connected...for new rooms that is so i have my phone upstairs
and for online i use jesus's line...until it gets changed. but that's the
only problem with new room so far.
i didn't hook up my record player so i better buy one that has a phono
output quick.
lots of decorating to do.
thinking about hooking up speakers that go into the bathroom and having
those on speaker set B on the receiver...should be fun to use my old computer
speakers for something good.

going to johnny's today.
work - fine.
made a cd case which should fit about 1000 cds, so i'll be set....for a
while.
green day is right - nice guys finish last.
13 hits on tuesday...that's dope, phat, tight, cool, etc.
beastie boys scientists of sound lp is coming within a couple days.
i lack funds.
moving this weekend...hopefully. need to straighten out phone situation...and
need to make those involved care enough to pack up.
last radio show was with vern...went pretty well.
they're going to great america...vern his girl, her roommate and her man...sounds
like i missed out on being excluded...darn, i guess johnny's place will
have to do. i'm not exactly keen on amusement parks anyway.
hear jon got a new reciever and cd player...must be fun to have 1600 bucks
handed to you...but not having it handed to you builds character so yippee.
i'm spoiled still.
saw killing zoe...another on the must see list...pretty good, but not excellent.
saved 40 bucks by building the cd case. it fits twice as many cds too.
and it gave me something to do.
i need more projects...little stuff.
i finished cat's cradle in case i didn't already say that...really good
book. first i've read for pleasure in about 5 years, beside aptpupil...which
was a novella, so i don't know if that counts. reading can be good if the
author cares to entertain rather than talk about a bead of sweat dripping
from some idiots brow for five pages...that's why i don't read too much...that
and the fact that stories these days don't seem as clever as cat's cradle
was. but i'm probably just ignorant. at any rate if you have any suggestions
for a good book along the lines of vonnegut - tell me. i've read slaughter
house five, so go from there.

was late for work today. worked an hour after to make up for it...then
took a bus two hours after work was after. i was misinformed about the
bus running near work after 7p - it didn't so i had to walk to mall - took
one hour...then waited 30mins for bus then 25 mins on bus, then 10 mins
on bike...approx. figures of course.
need to drink some soda....i'm a fiend.

been getting more hits...that's nice.
cd list is updated. i passed the
275 mark.
I went looking for building supplies for my cd case...it's going to be
about 50 buck cheeper making the case than buying it from tower.
sources say there is a new STP album...coming november. a new Rage Against
The Machin album is expected in october, but the site says nothing to confirm.
Beastie Boys 12" with remixes of Hello Nasty era stuff coming this year.
Got my two BS 2000 albums on vinyl...two @ $8 compared to the $150 people
were paying a few months ago when it was out of print....good deal just
for waiting i'd say.
saw menace II society again yesterday - excellent. you should see it. and
i saw do the right thing - spike lee rocks.

johnny and vern are both back so things are getting back to normal. i work
on monday from 8am-4pm which sucks because it means i need to wake up at
6.
blair witch project was really good, but not the best horror film ever.
seeing lock stock and two smoking barrels later tonight which should be
nice.
need to eat.
i'm up at 10am for some reason...weird.
if i have 270 cds and most cds at tower or other cd stores cost around
16 dollars how much money have i spent on CDs? holy shit that's crazy.
of course i don't usally pay 16 bucks, except for imports when i pay 25-32
bucks. then there are the singles which average around 7-8 bucks, mostly
because the beastie boys singles are so expensive, but they also come with
posters or videos on them for the computer so it usually makes it worth
the buy, even for a non bboy fan. i've got 7 imports. and 3 bootlegs, which
usally cost the same, but i traded so they were free. and i've got 15 singles...i
rather not figure out exactly how much it adds up to. but i can tell you
that if you want a lot of cds you better find someone like Mariescds@aol.com
or buy a cd writer so you can split the cost of cd with your friend and
then give them a copy.
Sixth Sense is a must see for anyone who is alive or dead...blair witch
project is also a must see, so just see both of them.
fantasy football coming up. fantasy baseball is good, i'm almost in third
after being in ninth the whole year. i'm also number 33,xxx out of 330,xxx
so that's nice.
wonder if i'll get hits for the XXX above? ha ha ha

there are some movies that are meant to entertain, others are meant to
teach, great movies do both. what i have in mind are movies like boyz in
the hood, menace to society, shawshank redemption, and American History
X, which I just saw.
movies and music, alike, often lend insight into societies problems...Summer
of Sam (spike lee) did a good job, just as the rest of the movies i listed.
songs like the message by grandmaster flash, war pigs by black sabbath,
something's got to give by the beastie boys, everything that rage against
the machine has done, etc. all help understand society's lackings. my point?
there are some movies you should watch a few times in your life, some songs
you should listen, really listen, to and there are some books that
you should read to be a better more understanding person.
i think i'll make a list. if you
have suggestions please send them....this list is in NO WAY comprehensive,
i.e. there's no way in hell i'll be able to cover everything, this is just
a small list i have come up with off the top of my head.

ordered bs 2000, two of em.
radio show was today...forgot it was thursday (i thought it was still wednesday)...as
a result i was 20 mins. late and unprepared. it still went well though
and it was more fun. i wasn't nervous either. maybe i'll prepare on wednesdays
instead and then just come in 10 mins before the show so i won't be all
wound up.
package came today, but i wasn't here to sign so they left it at the office...i'll
go there early tomorrow to see if my things have arrived...hopefully it's
what i'm waiting for and not something for jesus or something.
one more month in this room...sept. first i move downstairs and start paying
more.
work is jacking me...first my boss didn't call to schedule, then when i
called her she wasn't there, then i called again and she was and then she
only gave me like 25 hours a week...lame, esp. when someone just got fired
there should be more hours avail...before the break i was getting around
40...i think i'll just drop by with scott when she isn't there and work
without being scheduled. could get in trouble. couldn't care less.

i need more space for cds. i think i will make a cd case rather than sinking

i think i'll sell my soul, should be able to buy a nice turntable with
the money from that.

i'm back.
bs 2000 still isn't out yet.
my paycheck was more than i thought.
i got a cd writer and it's working...i'll probably return it within the
14 days, but at least i can back up some stuff make a few copies and rest
assurred that my computer isn't hopeless in terms of future cd writers
being installed.
camp was fun.
i'm getting barely any hits these days.
johnny and luke are both gone so that's one reason.

work meeting was interesting...lots of shit happened while i was gone.
one person was fired and another could be...jeesh calm down people.
